EL PESCADERO
El Pescadero is a town we visited all too briefly. But one we will definitely come back to. Mostly because we didn’t see the town, just the edge where it connects to route 19 (which is a great road, by the way!).
The Details
- There is a pho place right off of route 19 that you must visit. It’s technically a food court, but the stalls aren’t always occupied. It’s called Mai Plaza and the pho is very much worth it. Oh, and tell the owners I said hi. 🙂
- And if you’re looking for a place to park your RV (skoolie, van, etc), look no further than Baja Serena. It’s run and owned by a (now) friend called Asa. Super sweet man and family. It even has a small pool that is perfect for cooling off. And while you’re telling folks we said hi, definitely tell Asa we’re thinking of him.

On a Personal Note
We really want to come back here, but not for the reasons you might think. Yes, we didn’t get to see the main town, we were just there to regroup and connect to RV services, and we want to check out the rest of the area. But it was Asa at the RV park that we want to come back to. An incredibly wonderful and warm human being.
